Holiday Happenings...

Here are some pictures we've taken so far this month. Price has been to see Santa two times and wasn't scared at all. He has also started sitting in a high chair when we go out to eat. He looks like such a big boy at the table! Santa's lap #1...

This is Price with Jin Lu. She is a foreign exchange student from China and lives with some of my dad's friends. We went to the Milltown Community Christmas Party last weekend and she fell in love with Price. We love her too! She is such a doll!Santa's lap #2...I love this picture! This is my cousin Claire who played Gladys in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. She was soooo cute! "Hey! Unto you a child is born!" If you haven't read the book or seen the play, that is her famous line when she plays the Angel of the Lord. Bravo, Claire!
And here is my sweet angel in front of our Christmas tree...
We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! We love and miss you all!!!

Price's 1st Turkey Day...

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving dinner. I have to say, I was most thankful for getting to celebrate with so many friends and family members. We were so glad to have Von and Beth there from Utah. Price loved his Uncle Von! We all had a great time, even though we were packed into my house like sardines!

Nana, Chance, Chelsea & Hallie, Beth, and Von Alex, Chloe, and Kaylyn (we asked if he was flirting with them and he said yes ;)

Happy 20 Years Dad & Steph...

On Wednesday my dad & stepmom celebrated their 20th anniversary. We all went to dinner, and my dad surprised Stephanie with diamond ring. Well actually, Price surprised her with it. We tied it to his wrist and he gave it to her.

6 Months in the Blink of an Eye...

So, Price turned 6 months on Saturday and I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. It is crazy! Anyway, we got family pictures made that day too. We wanted an up to date photo to send in our Christmas cards. If you get on either of Pam's blogs you can see a few pictures, and once they are loaded on her website I will send you the password so you can see them all. She did the most awesome job as usual! This one is my favorite!

Some New Pictures...

The future Mr. & Mrs. He never looked big to me until we put him next to baby Hallie!

Playing with his buddy Alex. I love this picture!
Price and Mom taking a nap. He held my hair the whole time.

Mimmie turned 45 on the 10th of this month! Here she is with Lindy, Seth, and Price.

He has started taking his socks off with his teeth. I caught him in the act.

His new hat.

Bundled up for the winter weather. Chance said it reminded him of A Christmas Story when the little boy can't put his arms down.

4 Years Ago Today...

Today is our 4 year anniversary. Just look at us back then, we looked like babies. Now we're just some old married couple. But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hallie Sally has Arrived...

My best friend Chelsea had her baby girl yesterday. Hallie Alyse was born at 11:20 am and weighed 8lbs 2oz. Both mom and baby are doing great! Several months ago, when they picked Hallie as a first name, their son Alex decided her middle name should be Sally. You would ask him what his baby sister's name was going to be, and he would tell you Hallie Sally. Now he says it's Hallie Sally Alyse. It's too cute! Anyway, she is beautiful. I have loved having a boy, don't get me wrong, but seeing all those pink dresses and bows (not to mention shoes) has made me excited to hopefully have a girl one of these days. Congrats Chelsea and Johnny. Baby Hallie is precious!

Fun Saturday...

Here are some pictures from Saturday. Price took his 1st "big boy bath" in the bathtub with Dad. FYI, Chance doesn't usually bathe with his swimming trunks on, just in case you were wondering. Anyway, Price loved splashing in the water. If you look closely at the second bath picture you can see his two teeth.

These were taken later that day when mom, Lindy, Price and I went to Ozark to eat at this great BBQ restaurant. After that we drove to Paris and went antique shopping at our favorite place.

Little Monkey's 1st Halloween...

Price's 1st Halloween was so fun! He was the cutest little monkey ever! We went to my mom's for chili dogs like we do every Halloween, and then we took him to my dad's to show off his costume. He got treats from all his grandparents. Mimmie (mom) got him a big Curious George, and Grammie and Papa (steph and dad) got him a monkey book. My grandparents got him a little stuffed monkey too. He loved it! He was a little trooper getting dragged around all over in that costume. Here are some pictures. Unfortunatley, I didn't get any shots of him and my mom, but I did get them together on video, so it's ok.

Price burped in his Papa's face....ha ha ha!

Happy Fall!...

Here are a few pictures I took of Price last night in our front yard. As you can see he is pretty much sitting on his own!

I am embarrassed to say that I didn't put out any fall/Halloween decorations until Tuesday. Oh well, he won't remember right? I'll do better next year. I will post more pictures of him in his costume tomorrow or Saturday.

Crazy Busy October...

So it's been almost a month since my last post. I feel bad, but we have been so busy! I will try and catch everyone up...

A couple of weeks ago, when we decided Price wasn't getting any better with his congestion, we went ahead and made the appointment with an ENT at Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Our pediatrician here didn't really think anything was wrong, but told us he would give us a referral if we wanted. I'm glad we took him up on the offer, because there was something wrong. Turns out Price has had reflux all this time. It has caused his adenoids to be enlarged (60% closed off) and his vocal chords to be "floppy". There is some big long term for this, but I can't spell it. Anyway, it is treatable and the doc said 95% of children treated get completely fixed. He is now on Prevacid for the reflux and Rhinocort to shrink his adenoids. He seems to be better already. We will go back in December for another check, and if it's fixed he can come off the Prevacid.
He has started rolling from tummy to back, so now he can go both ways. And, the other night he started getting up on his knees like he's getting ready to crawl. He gets around pretty well just scooting on his tummy. He can't quite sit up alone yet, but he's getting close. I love his little personality, and watching he and Chance play is the best! He squeals and screams and laughs like crazy at his dad. He also loves to pull on hair and earrings.
Tuesday, the 21st was my 26th birthday. I'm starting to feel old already! The weekend before that was the War Eagle Arts and Crafts fair. It is always close to my birthday, so I consider going and shopping one of my favorite presents. I got some really cute stuff this year. The best was this wooden frame. I will have to post a picture of it later, but this is what it says:
Before you were conceived I wanted you.
Before you were born I loved you.
Before you were here an hour I would die for you.
This is the miracle of love."
Isn't that BEAUTIFUL?! I almost cry every time I read it. I have this really good picture that Chance took of me kissing Price that is going to look perfect in it.
And my last story for now: Chance and I took a short trip to Mexico Friday-Saturday so I could get a fill in my Lap-Band. It was so hard to leave Price! He stayed Thursday night with my dad and step-mom, and spent Friday night at our house with my mom. I knew he was in good hands, but just being apart for two nights was almost unbearable. Anyway, the trip was crazy and the travel time itself took forever. We left our house for Tulsa at 5:30am and flew into San Diego. Then we took a shuttle across the border, and went straight to the clinic to get the fill. We stayed the night in Mexico, and were up bright and early the next morning to get back to the airport. It took forever to get back across the border. Then we had a five hour flight that made two other stops, so we ended up back at our house around 10pm Saturday night. Crazy! Then, as if it weren't miserable enough to do all that traveling, something got lodged in my throat before we got on the plane to come home. Evidently it irritated my stomach where the Lap-Band sits, and eventually it became so inflamed that nothing would go down (it hurt just to swallow). I had to wait until Monday afternoon to drive to Northwest AR and see a doctor, so I had no food or water from Saturday afternoon until Monday afternoon. So, long story short, the doctor in NWA doesn't use the x-ray when doing fills/unfills so he poked my with a 3 inch needle about 6 times and dug around until he finally found the port and removed some of the saline. FUN! I usually don't get queasy, but the combo of not having anything in my system and the needle nearly made me pass out on the table. It was horrible, but I think I would have let him cut me open at that point if it meant I could eat and drink! Anyway, all is well now, and on the bright side I've lost 5 lbs. already. I know that was a long story, but I thought it was worth sharing.

So here are some pictures from this month. Hope you enjoy....

These are some of us at the park one Sunday. We met up with Chelsea, Johnny, and Alex to play.
This is Price at my Mom's office. He wouldn't take his fingers out of his mouth for a second.
This was our trip to War Eagle Arts and Crafts Fair. I meant to take more pictures, but we were having too much fun and I forgot. Price was so good! He's definitley a "get out and go baby."These were taken on 10/22/08 when he turned 5 months. He looks like such a big boy in them! And these were from this Sunday when we went to the park. We took Price on his 1st train ride.
