Our Babies

(that started out as a donut)

Here are just a few more pictures of the kids. Price loves his new baby sister and is so good with her. We had her newborn pictures taken this morning and I can't wait to see how they turned out. Hopefully there is at least one good one of them both! We are adjusting to life with two under two (definitely more of a challenge). I know exactly what people mean now when they say you aren't truly a parent until you have more than one child. I have to admit I've had my moments of doubt, and I know I will continue to. But all in all it is such a blessing!

She's Here!!!

Here are some pictures of our new arrival. Phoebe Kate Williams made her debut at 12:37pm Friday, December 4th. She weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19.5 inches long. I know that might not sound small to some people, but I never dreamed I would have a baby under 8 lbs! She looks so tiny to me! So far all is going well. The second c-section was even easier and less painful than the first. Phoebe is a good eater (hopefully she will stay that way!)...Here are some pictures and I will post more soon.

Coming Soon....

I am trying to get some time to sit down and update this thing. I have been terrible! In my defense, we were out of town and as soon as we returned we starting packing and moving. Also, in the meantime, Price has gotten 5, yes 5, new teeth at one time! Fun fun fun!!! Anyway, here he is helping me pack for our trip to Utah. I will post more and tell you all about it soon!

Sleepy Head Gives In...

What a day this has been! Things were off to a good start this morning. I was cleaning around the house and Price was playing with a new toy from Christmas. He was actually entertaining himself for the first time this week. All was as it should be. Then the blind spots started. Now, I used to get migraines all the time, so I knew all too well what this meant. But, I haven't had one in about 7 years so I was hoping I was wrong and maybe I just had something in my eye. Nope. Horrible sickness was soon upon me. Chance had to cancel all his appointments and come home. He was pretty far away so Stephanie came and took care of Price until he could get here. I will spare you the grusome details, but I was on my death bed for about 4 hours and am still feeling pretty weak and nauseous.

I should also mention that Price is teething, so he is a far cry from his normal happy go lucky self. This didn't help the situation at all. Not only does he have to be rocked to sleep, but evidently I am the only one who can do the job properly. Needless to say with me under the weather this afternoon he was having nothing to do with a nap. This made for one cranky kid! So, after trying with no luck to get him to take a nap, Chance finally stuck him in his high chair with a toast stick and left the kitchen for about 5 minutes. When he came back this is what he found...

It's such hard work being a baby. Eating that toast stick must have plum worn him out! And regarding the teething...is it normal for eye teeth to come in before the two front teeth? Because his are. He is going to look like a vampire!

Eight Months...Wow!

I cannot believe how quickly eight months can go by! I was thinking today that we are 2/3 finished with his first year. That seems crazy! It has been the best eight months of my life though. I love this kid more every day. He is such an amazing gift from God. We are truly blessed!

Then (1 month) & now. Where did the time go???
I hope he'll let me rock him to sleep at least until he starts high school :)

Just Hanging Out...

So, my grandma has the magic touch. All she has to do is hold Price and he's asleep within minutes. Here he is zonked out on his (most annoying) puppy. I'm sure the thing was turned off at the time, because there's no way anyone could go to sleep in the same room as it, even if my grandma was holding them! And this was the first little snow we've had this winter. Chance had to take him out in it, so I bundled him up as quickly as I could and they ran around the front yard. Yeah, I know this doesn't look like much if you live in Utah, but hey, this is Arkansas and we get excited when anything that resembles snow falls from the sky. Look at that talent! He's having a snack and doing his morning stretches...

We started taking big boy baths. That little tub just couldn't contain him anymore. He's so long! Anyway, he loves the tub and playing with his toys! Dad went crazy taking pictures and this is a few of them.

I LOVE these two pictures! He makes the silliest faces...
And I just thought I would say that I love the Boon Frog Pod! It is wonderful. It holds everything and makes for really easy clean-up of bathtub toys.

More Christmas Pictures...

Sorry I am so slow at getting all of these posted. We have had a busy couple of weeks. Then again, when are we not busy?! So here are some more Christmas pictues. Hope no one is getting tired of seeing outdated photos. Also, Price is crawling! It's so cute watching him get around. He is so proud of himself when he gets going. Today I took him to the office with me (I am still working about two days a week until they find my replacement) and he crawled all over the place. I will try to get a video posted soon so everyone can see. Although, we will be there soon so he can show off his mad skills for you in person. Chance also wanted me to tell everyone that he can whistle too. Not on command or anything, but he really can. It's funny! We can't wait to come see everyone! Still have no clue whether we are driving or flying??? Anyway, we will be there one way or another.Above and below are pictures from Christmas night. My dad decided he couldn't wait and had to get Price his first BB gun. It's an official Red Ryder, but don't worry we won't let him shoot it any time soon. He also got a rocking horse from his Grammie and Papa. It makes horse sounds and moves its head and tail. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but it's growing on him.

This is a funny story. We got to my grandparents on Christmas night and realized that in all the hustle and bustle I forgot all of Price's formula at my mom's house. We couldn't go get any either because it was Christmas night and all the stores were closed. I'm sure the pediatrician would die, but this is Price getting his first taste of my grandma's sweet tea (decaf of course). He loved it! By the way, he had already eaten a lot of baby food for dinner so this was not his meal.

Price and his Nana.

Price and Aunt Lydia above. Price and Papa below. This was our first year to put lights on the house. I think Chance did a pretty darn good job, too! This was Price's first black eye. He fell on one of his new toys a couple of days after Christmas. Don't know if you can tell from the picture, but it was pretty swollen and puffy. He took it like a man and hardly cried. I on the other hand didn't take it so well...it broke my heart.
And this has nothing to do with Christmas, but here is what he does when he goes to work with Mommy...lazy bum!

And on a personal note-Mom, I am so sorry! There was not a single picture taken with my camera of Price with him Mimmie on Christmas. I feel like crap! You get the next holiday all to yourself with pictures of you and Price. He can be your Valentine!

Finally...a New Post!

Ok, I know I'm terrible, but I have good reasons/excuses for not posting in so long. First of all I haven't been at work and that was my only access to the internet. However, as of Saturday we became official adults and got the internet and a home phone line. This may sound silly, but it is really fun and adult-like to have a regular phone at your house. We've just used our cell phones for so long that I had forgotton what it's like. What is the reason for the new phone and home internet you ask? Well, I am offically a STAY AT HOME MOM! Yeah!!! It is so great to finally get to be here with Price and work on the house. Yes, I love to clean! We have been having a really great time. The only problem I've encountered so far is a lack of motivation to put on real clothes and make-up. I just get caught up in what I'm doing, then Price takes a nap and I have to hurry and get things done that I can't do with him awake. Before I know it, it's 4 o'clock and I am still in my pjs with a Courtney Love eye make-up job left from the night before. Anyway, here are some pics from Christmas. We had a lot of fun. I will post more when I get a free minute...
